Main issue: I am happy the scale is finally moving, but I do not want to trade weight for feeling soft and weak. I am 52 and in perimenopause, so the generic 'just walk more' advice feels incomplete. Walking helps my mood and digestion, but I know it is not the same as strength work. Right now I am doing two short dumbbell sessions, protein first meal, and trying not to make every meal tiny just because I can. Would love to hear what other women over 50 are actually able to repeat.
