Ozempic 0.5mg: muscle retention got easier after one small change

For anyone in the same dose window, this was the small change that stuck. I kept trying to eat my normal dinner and then wondered why the night felt awful. I am week 26 and my main issue was muscle retention, especially around the weekend. What finally helped was keeping protein steady. I also kept my three things simple: plateau, muscle retention, hair shedding. No big reset, just less improvising. The win was not huge, just a normal afternoon without needing to lie down. If you are in the same window, maybe try changing one boring variable before changing everything.

Following because I am in the same spot. I would message your prescriber if it feels sharp, severe, or keeps getting worse. That is one of my main issues too. Hope it settles down soon.
This is the kind of detail I wish I had earlier. Mine got easier after two weeks at the same dose. I am week 49 on Wegovy 1.7mg, so my timing may be different. That is one of my main issues too. The boring answer worked for me.
